A friend of the world is the enemy of God

James 4:4 says, “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” (Jam. 4:4). 1 John 2:15 says, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” (1 John 2:15). Jesus came to earth, conceived by the Holy Ghost, in the virgin, Mary, born of the virgin, Mary, espoused to Joseph (Matt. 1:18-25). He had brothers and sisters (Mark 6:3). He started His earthly ministry at about the age of thirty (Luke 3:23). And for three and a half years, He healed, did miracles, and forgave sins. And at Passover in 31 A.D., Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, He was buried, and the third day He arose to give us the hope and promise of eternal life in His Holy name. Alleluia and praise the LORD. Amen and Amen.

Jesus came not to judge the world, but to save it

John 12:47 says, “And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.” (John 12:47).

If the Roman Catholic Church and the world system is Babylon the great, the LORD will redeem us from our enemies there

Micah 4:10 says, “Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the Lord shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.” (Mic. 4:10). Revelation 17:18 says, “And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” (Rev. 17:18).

This world is passing away

1 Corinthians 7:31 says, “those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them. For this world in its present form is passing away.” (1 Cor. 7:31). 1 John 2:17 says, “And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” (1 John 2:17).

It was prophesied that the world system would be partly strong and partly broken in the time of the end

Daniel 2:42 says, “And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.” (Dan. 2:42).

Jesus did not come to condemn the world

John 3:17 says, “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:17).

In the world

Jesus said in John 17:15, “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.” (John 17:15).

Jesus loves the world

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). John 17:2 says, “As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.” (John 17:2). I believe that Jesus has been given everyone and has given eternal life to everyone based on John 17:2.

Jesus desires the world to believe He was sent by God, the Father

In John 17:21 it says, “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” (John 17:21, 23). This is amazing news, because it leaves nobody out. Jesus desires the whole world to believe that God, the Father, sent Jesus to earth.

Angels, Demons and the Spirit World – Part 4

Angels, Demons and the Spirit World – What is going on beyond what we can see with our eyes? – Part 4

To say that I have the perfect answer to the question would be a lie. I know for certain that there is a spirit world. Without getting into it too deeply, I will say that there is a spirit world because there is the knowledge of both good and bad that takes place in this world today. Not only that but there are things that take place, that cannot really be explained any other way other than that “outside” forces are acting in this physical world that we cannot see. I do not know if you have experienced these “outside” forces, but if you have you know what I am talking about. This week I will tackle the question of “Is there a spirit world”, using the Bible as the go to reference book of choice…cont’d.

Last, we cannot know and understand everything that is happening on all levels in the natural or spirit world, at least I don’t. But it is good to know that we have a Saviour who wants us to put our trust in Him to lead us in this life and into eternity (Romans 15:13). Jesus Christ gave power to His disciples to cast out evil spirits, heal the sick and preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God, in Jesus’s name (Luke 9:1, 2). If you believe, you can and do have these same powers, first in your own life and then in helping others. Take this all in stride and with a wise foundation in the knowledge of Christ and God first (Ephesians 2:19-22). But once you begin to notice the positive changes in your own life. You may very well be able to help others make positive changes in their own lives as well, through the healing power of Jesus Christ and His promises (1 Peter 2:24).
